Nikolaĭ I schital Frantsiiu istochnikom 'revoliutsionnoĭ zarazy', a v prishedshem k vlasti v 1830 godu korole Lui-Filippe videl ne 'brata', a uzurpatora. Kniga Very Milʹchinoĭ rasskazyvaet o zlokliucheniiakh frantsuzov, priezzhavshikh v Rossiiu v 1830-1840-kh godakh. Vera Milʹchina - istorik russko-frantsuzskikh sviazeĭ, vedushchiĭ nauchnyĭ sotrudnik Instituta vysshikh gumanitarnykh issledovaniĭ RGGU i Shkoly aktualʹnykh gumanitarnykh issledovaniĭ RANKhiGS.
The historical influence of France on Russia it is well known, however, by the French, and to foreigners in General, in the Imperial Russia, the attitude was more than skeptical. Nicholas thought France source 'revolutionary contagion', and came to power in 1830 the king Louis-Philippe saw the 'brother', and the usurper. The book of Faith Milzinai tells the misadventures of the French, who came to Russia in 1830-1840-ies. The visa was fraught with difficulties, secret police led them constant supervision, and could send any 'harmful' French out of the country on the basis of an anonymous denunciation. The author builds his fascinating narrative on the basis of the valuable historical material: memoirs of French travellers, of private correspondence, the reports of diplomats, archives of the Third division, which shed light on the origins of modern relationship of the state to 'foreign influences'. Faith Milchina - historian of the Russian-French relations, leading researcher of the Institute of higher humanitarian research, Russian state University for Humanities and the School of actual humanitarian research of Ranepa.
