Its author, who has been studying Vysotsky's work for many years, analyzes numerous sources of information: the memoirs of the actor's close friends and relatives, interviews with his fellow Taganskaya veterans, Russian and foreign theatrical publications, newspaper and magazine publications, and, of course, information coming from the mouth of the main character of this book. As you know, Vladimir Vysotsky often talked about his theatrical works during performances in front of the audience. The book is intended for a wide readership interested not only in the biography of Vladimir Vysotsky, but also in the history of the Russian theater of the second half of the 20th century.
