Dostoevsky's greatest novel."Idiot" was filmed 13 times by the best directors from India to Germany — Georges Lampin and Andrzej Zhulavsky, Akira Kurosawa and Andrzej Vajda, domestic Pyriev and Bortko.A fascinating story of tragic passions that connected merchant Parfen Rogozhin, the former kept woman of a rich nobleman Nastasia Filippovna and the 'ideal man' Prince Myshkin — a helpless idiot in the world of greed and evil, stating that compassion is perhaps the only law of human existence. It is still relevant and is perceived vividly and directly, as if it was written yesterday.
