Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961) was a Swiss psychologist, psychotherapist, philosopher, sociologist, and cultural critic. He was one of the outstanding scientists of the twentieth century, a student of Sigmund Freud, the founder of analytical psychology and psychotherapy, and the founder and president of the Swiss Society for Practical Psychology. This edition includes Jung's most significant works on psychoanalysis. Paying tribute to his teacher and the discoverer of psychoanalytic theory, Dr. Freud, Jung presents his own original view of psychoanalysis and its role in the study of the mysterious human soul.
