Milan Kundera is one of the most popular writers of our time. His books literally fascinate the reader with the sophistication of style, skillful plot construction, the intensity of feelings of the characters. Each new work of the writer replenishes a number of bestsellers of intellectual prose. The novel "Waltz Goodbye" tells about the contradictory relationship between eight people who meet in a small resort town in Czechoslovakia in the early 1970s. Each of them finds himself involved in a variety of love twists and turns, which intersect with each other, giving rise to an intricate plot pattern, which, closer to the finale, acquires unexpectedly tragic colors.
