What will Kovalev give you? Yes, everything: children, security, two mortgages and two Milans a year, repairs, a pony for your daughter (please call her Electra), a lawn and lawn mower, a white Volvo so that you don't crash on the way to the indoor pool, medical insurance covering everything except dental, separate money for dental, a pedigreed dog, stupid but sweet, and peace, and an even life without love and fear... What about me? Except for the rings of Saturn in your two ears and the patches of memory of the morning when the wind, fog and snow were stuck... I can't stand it and send her a 'hello' peppered with an exclamation mark! I don't like him. This is Kovalev's sign. Mine is a question mark. But a questioning greeting is pointless, as is my attempt to enter a house that has burned down. Boris Leibov was born in Moscow in 1983, studied sociology at the University of Glasgow, and graduated from the Higher Cinematographic Screenwriting Courses (workshop of Oleg Dorman and Lyudmila Golubkina). He is the author of the novels "Dorogobuzh" and "The Little Prince", the collection "Khol" and the novella "Lilienblum". He lives in Tel Aviv.
