The beloved children's writer Korney Ivanovich Chukovsky has two fairy tales about the good doctor. The first one is in poetry, and the second one is in prose, and it's called "Dr. Aibolit." Chukovsky created this tale by thoroughly reworking the work of the English writer Hugh Lofting (1889-1947). The doctor, who embarks on a dangerous journey to save the animals, is not afraid of pirates led by the evil Barmaley and, of course, is surrounded by cheerful animal friends, infinitely close to the little reader and pleases him. This book includes the first two parts of the fairy tale with unsurpassed drawings by the children's artist Viktor Alexandrovich Chizhikov. For primary school age.
