A new book by Stanislav Vostokov, a wonderful children's writer and naturalist, about a girl named Sonya, nicknamed Koza, who ran away from an orphanage. A goat runs to an abandoned village on the edge of the tundra. She adores animals, and birds and animals that have long appropriated human habitation become her friends and companions. But who lived here before? What happened to these people?Sonya is coping with an independent life, although it is not easy for her, and she is also exploring the big world that has opened up to her. And above all, the tundra is an amazingly beautiful space where there are so many enticing mysteries and not a soul for hundreds of kilometers around. Or does it just seem that way? She will find friends and a vocation, but first a real miracle will happen.
