About the book "jam for small monsters. Volume 2" is a continuation of The Adventures of Matvey, invented by Ukrainian authors Roman Kepkal, Yana Palamarenko, Bohdan Tsyganko and other artists. The publication brought together talented screenwriters and artists who created a holistic world for a younger audience. The series retains the style of the first volume, expanding the familiar world of the wilderness and deepening the characters of the main characters. The second volume tells about new challenges for a boy who is trying to find his place among creatures that do not quite look like humans. There are many unusual things in the wilderness: magical traps, creatures with their own laws, strange encounters and situations where even friends can be faced with a choice. Matvey will have to show ingenuity, maintain friendship and try to understand who he wants to be – a person among monsters or part of something new. At the center of the story is the search for trust, the difficulties of adaptation, and the study of the boundaries of good and evil. The book raises the topic of perception of "others" and what makes a person a person. At the same time, events are not burdened with excessive drama – the interaction of characters, humor and gradual disclosure of a world that is both familiar and fictional come to the fore.
