In 1930, French airmail pilot Henri Guillaume, who was making a night flight through the Alps, disappears without a trace during a snowstorm. His friend and colleague Exupery participates in the rescue expedition. The events of those few days changed both friends forever: one survived by doing the impossible, the other wrote several books that were included in the "golden reserve" of mankind.
