Pino Lella, a young Italian, like any man of his age, loves music, girls and himself. And everything would have gone according to the normal laws of life, if war had not invaded the world. The house in Milan where Pino lives with his parents is reduced to rubble by bombing. The young man contacts the underground. While helping Jewish families escape from the swastika through the Alps, Pino meets Anna, his love. But the ways of war are unfathomable — to protect himself from death, a young man joins the German army, and fate puts him behind the wheel of the personal car of Hans Leyers, one of the most influential and mysterious military leaders of the Third Reich, a man who is patronized by German Chancellor Adolf Hitler himself. Since then, Pino has been living between two poles — love for Anna and hatred for the soulless force whose name is fascism. M.
