The novel "Children of the Rose" the famous English writer, poet, translator of Russian poetry of Elaine Feinstein's happening in 1970. But the heroes of the novel, Alex Mendez and his ex-wife Lyalkov, who fled from Poland, is haunted by the memory of the Holocaust. Alex wants to understand the nature of evil and reads Maimonides.
