The author tells about two hundred films of various countries, genres and directions that have been shot over the past five years. From the works of Quentin Tarantino and Clint Eastwood to the crafts of Zhora Gooseberry and Luc Besson, from infantile comics to multi-wise dramas, from Oscar-winning masterpieces to the worst movies in the world... All these so different films, combined under the pen of a corrosive and thoughtful critic, together make up a large-scale and fairly objective picture of modern world cinema.
