Little Anya's life is flowing smoothly and happily. In summer, in a village with blueberry glades, tall pine trees, and a warm lake. And in winter in Moscow, with the Tretyakov Gallery and gifts from the "Children's World". But one day this life ends. Anya now lives in New York. While her parents are at university, she goes to an American school, eats jam sandwiches instead of soup, looks for new friends, and gets used to going barefoot on the street. Maria Danilova's novel "Anya Here and There" entered the finals of the Krapivin Children's Literary Award in 2020. This is a story about growing up between two cultures, about how important it is, wherever you are, to know that you can always return home. For the middle school age.
