In September 1949, young Jacqueline Bouvier crosses the Atlantic and arrives in post — war Paris-a city of freedom, art and danger at the same time. Running away from her mother's expectations and her parents ' divorce becomes a chance for her to find herself. France welcomes the girl with bright jazz clubs, avant-garde theater and a splash of champagne. And also — a young talented writer whose passion for literature is intertwined with her own. But Paris doesn't just shine. It still hurts him: the stripped walls of houses remember the occupation, the streets are teeming with spies, and the past of every friend hides untold stories. Spontaneously, Jacqueline encounters communist movements-a curse in America and part of the everyday reality of Europe. She doesn't yet know that this particular year in Paris will change her forever, becoming the basis for a future legend — Jackie Kennedy.
