At the dawn of the summer of 2024, the wind blows into Thessalonica. Unlikely meetings begin with him, coincidences, memories and conversations unfold unfathomably well. Everyone is looking for their own: love, freedom, peace, a language in which to become themselves again, a place where all this will be possible at once, because this place is home. The new text by Shasha Martynova is a bold continuation of the searches of Miranda July, Iris Murdoch, Thomas Pynchon and Jonathan Coe. "Excellent Children of Space and Time" is a polyphonic novel about the modern Mediterranean, about friendship and exile, about memory and choice, about a person's ability to stay alive in the midst of the storm of history.
