"The Parallax Method" is a novel about the near future, in which the personal destinies of the characters are intertwined with historical upheavals and the threat of impending catastrophe. Based on the Armenian historical experience and at the same time addressing the universal problems of the modern world, Hovhannes Aznauryan combines tragedy, farce, satire and humor in the narrative.According to Alexander Arkhangelsky, the author exists equally organically in the national tradition, the Russian-speaking context and the global literary space. The storyline of the game makes you think about the possibilities of a person, and humor and satire help to keep hope alive even in the face of disaster.David Matevosyan notes the writer's special view of his characters: both from the inside and as if from the outside, through a magnifying glass. The absurdity, tragedy and farce gradually intensify, turning the novel into a warning and a call to change the course of events while it is still possible.
