An ironic novel about the price of old secrets and people who are willing to do anything to make the past a thing of the past. The story of how a harmless adventure turns into a real investigation! When Marina and her friend Lena come to quiet Sosnovka for the summer, they expect relaxation and rustic comfort. But everything changes after meeting the journalist Andrey Rogov, who collects local legends. Curiosity leads them to an old story about a hidden treasure, and then to a terrible discovery at an abandoned barn. Instead of a carefree vacation, the heroines find themselves embroiled in a murder investigation that intertwines old village secrets, old grudges, past disappearances, and a map leading to solving the mystery of the locals. While investigating the murder, the heroines realize that nothing happens by chance in Sosnovka. And if someone started looking for treasure once, it means that they have already found something much more dangerous. After all, the scariest thing in this story is not the legend of treasures, but people who are ready to keep secrets at any cost.
