"Conversations in the mirror" is a conversation held for nearly twenty years the chief editor of the Russian-language Israeli magazine "Mirror" Irina Vrubel-Golubkina, as well as records of the discussions held during the drafting of the round tables. The result was the book about the Russian avant-garde. The interlocutors tell about their vision, share their thoughts about the past and present culture, the problems of modernity. Among them are the famous collector and textual critic and connoisseur of Russian poetry N. Gergiev, literary critic E. Gerstein, actors avant-garde of the next generations from St. Krasovskogo, Sun. Nekrasov, M. Grobman, Kabakov to Sasha Sokolov and Pavel Pepperstein.
