In the remote land of Lascar, seven ruling clans have been fighting each other for supremacy for a hundred years. Rothgar, the son of the Rivsburg clan chief, had always been raised to be a reliable assistant to his older brother Yorick when he inherited power after their father passed away. But the brothers still do not know that soon the age-old way of life will be disrupted and another force, much scarier than any human being, will turn everything around. Rivsburg's long-time enemies, the Vorund clan, are being influenced by something ancient and sinister. They are enslaved by evil that has survived from the legendary times when the gods themselves fought among themselves. The world is changing, no one can be trusted, any ally can turn out to be a traitor, and severe trials await the heroes ahead. .
