A famous Israeli feminist scientist has been murdered. She once put forward the theory that the biblical women who did not have children actually voluntarily gave up motherhood. She was also one of the Others, a group of four friends who had vowed never to have children back at university. And it is impossible not to connect her death with her views: the killer carved the word "mom" on the victim's forehead, and put a baby doll in his hands. Her former best friend and one of the Others finds herself at the epicenter of the investigation. Is she the main suspect or the next victim? The detective story by the modern Israeli writer Sarah Blau is an exciting and full of black humor thriller that, while remaining within the genre, touches on the problems of modern society, closely related to the ancient past.
