The fourth book of the famous art and documentary series "Voices of Utopia" by Svetlana Alexievich, winner of the 2015 Nobel Prize in Literature, "for polyphonic creativity - a monument to the suffering and courage of our time" is dedicated to the main man-made catastrophe of the 20th century. "Two catastrophes coincided: the cosmic one, Chernobyl, and the social one, when a huge socialist continent went under water. And this second crash has overshadowed the cosmic one, because it is closer and clearer to us. What happened in Chernobyl is the first time on earth, and we are the first people to survive it." The Chernobyl Prayer is published in a new author's edition, with the addition of 30 percent of the new text, with the restoration of fragments excluded from previous editions for censorship reasons.
